L’irlandais – The Guard In France

Films often get new titles when they’re released in non-English speaking markets.

Some of the time the choice of title is a little odd, while other times it makes a lot of sense.

In the case of Irish film “The Guard” the title for the French market is “L’irlandais”, which translates as “The Irishman”
